Summer Palace Season So Far

Excellent win yesterday afternoon against a tough opposition from the Barbarians B team. Match report to follow soon, when Lee Russell will have written it up (thanks again!).

In summary,

We played 13 games during this first part of the season: 10 in the league, 2 in the cup and 1 friendly game. We won 10 of these games, drew 2, and lost only 1. We scored 48 goals and conceded 10. This is the best ever start of the season for Palace since its foundation (we are in our 5th season).

We had 32 players involved so far but only 1 player took part in all 13 games: captain Ben Roberts. Lee Russell and Aaron Thio played in 12 out of 13 games.

Jim So (who scored 8 goals in his last 3 games) is leading the goal-scorers chart with 11 goals (10 in the league + 1 in the cup). Lee Russell has 8 goals, Olly and Amir, 5 each.
