iffc report….FORBIDDEN CITY FC vs. AFRIKA UTD. 2:1 (0:0)
The top match between the No.1 and No.2 of the league ended with a 2:1 victory for Forbidden City FC who for the first time where able to beat Afrika Utd. ever. The match was played in a good level the first twenty minutes and then it turned to be stuck in the midfield where neither team could score so the first half ended goalless 0:0. In the second half after just five minutes then Afrika Utd. scored the 0:1 lead through a goal from Vincent Etoundi (50.) and Forbidden City FC who never gave up had to come forward. In mid second half then Forbidden City FC could equalize through Ivan Lakatos (71.) for 1:1. Forbidden City FC then pushed for the winner and five minutes from time they were successful: Matt Dunn put the ball into Afrika Utd.’s goal net (85.) for 2:1 which was also the final score after ninety minutes.
BEST PLAYERS (MVPs):
Matt Dunn (Forbidden City FC ) and Vincent Etoundi (Afrika Utd.)

i’ve found the formula to a man of the match vote from the opposition….1. moan consistently and with a wide and varied ‘choice’ vocab.2. kick (or attempt to) anything that moves within 3 yards of you3. score with your only foray into the opposition half!4. get a yellow card.did all 4 to the letter against the barbs and the afrikans…bosh…vote in the bag!

Congratulations City! That’s a massive result against the Africans.I love hearing that the club is still moving from strength to strength. I’ll be with you in spirit at the Christmas party on Friday. As for me, apart from looking after our new baby, I’ve been playing for a team now called the Khartoum Khawajas. We have playing friendlies against local teams. It’s still about 50 degrees when we play, but the slower pace suits me just fine. We’re looking to go on tour in Dubai in March.Looking forward to hearing about the party hijinks and a positive result against the French.Anyway, keep it up and have one for the road.Jason in dusty Khartoum

Massive result boys. Making history. Big result for palace too, and the top two scorers in the league. Nakamura who? All the kids are asking for Williams 9 on their shirts this Christmas. Any chance of some highlights this season? Its hard to find the coverage on sky.
