FCFC weekly news
Citizens! The weekend kicked off on Friday with our traditional FCFC Xmas Party, and with nearly 50 people making the most of Luga’s 4star Michelin dinner and the free booze, it was another huge success. Special mentions go to Manuel for showing all the new boys how it’s done and earning himself a free FCFC tracksuit, Jimbo for redecorating the Lugas toilet (and his own trousers in the process), Eduardo for his crowd surfing and Sheff donkey of the night for taking approximately 5 minutes to down his Tsingdao in the traditional Boat race!On the Pitch, City made it 11 wins in 11 games in the league, with another important 2-0 win against title contenders French Le. Old boy Rafi volleyed in the opener in the 1st half and Ivan punished them late in the 2nd half to make it 2-0 after 90 minutes. Top of the league with 33 points, a 5 point gap, best defense and most goals scored WE ARE CITY. Fantastic.Later that same day, The Palace boys joined forces with City at Lugas after their win against the Red Cards. Manuel, Adam N and Lucho with one goal a piece made sure the Dwellers claimed their 3rd win in a row. Palace remain in 4th spot close to the top 3!! Booya. This week we also say goodbye to old school Ryan “Waggers”, Marcel and Eduardo. All the best guys and be sure to keep in touch. We have nearly 2 months before the leagues kick off again, training will resume in January/Feb and in the meantime if you are up for it, Futsal on Mondays is a great way to stay in shape and have some great fun. (CIS on Liangmaqiao Lu 8-10pm).It’s been an absolute pleasure playing with you all, let’s make sure we keep this up in 2011. Have a well deserved break, Happy Xmas and a smashing New Year.Cheers,Philippe——————————————————————————–Check out our websites at www.forbiddencityfc.com | www.iffc1994.com | SPFC Stats | FCFC Stats |“creating an atmosphere of fun and friendship for footballers from all corners of the world in the spirit of competition that all players, past, present and future, can enjoy”
