Hi guys, Training tonight as usual 8pm-10pm Lido Pitch. Please be on time. Big matches coming up this week for both Palace and City! Don’t miss out! let’s make sure both teams stay top of their respective leagues! Traffic in the liangmaqiao area has been tough so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to reach the pitch. Pitch owners have confirmed the park/pitch is available tonight! cheers, Philippe
I have booked the Chaoyang stadium pitch this Sunday 12pm. The idea is to have another friendly before the league starts. This might take the form of an intrasquad game or possibly a friendly against another side, in any case all FCFC squad members are welcome.
City players and those not involved on Saturday: this is a must to be fit for the start of the season!
Please RSVP/confirm availability NOW!
Training as always on Wednesday.
As mentioned previously it’s important we have a good turn out from both teams. Priority for squad selection will be given to players who come to training. The Cup/League etc starts this weekend for Palace and in two weeks time for City (note City friendly against Chinese semi-pro side this Saturday – will be in touch shortly regarding this). To make you sure you can make one of the teams please come to training (old and new players:no free passes).
The one and only FA qualified Benoit Wu will be taking care of this week’s session – expect good footy and cold beers later on.
After the October Holiday (for some of you) I hope you enjoyed it but kept fit and a raring to lose those extra pints added while watching the Rugby. etc.
Training will resume as usual at the Lido Pitch, this Wednesday at 8pm. With some big games coming up this Sunday (Afrika and Azurri), fitness is key. Be there each week.
For the rest of the season, you can look on the IFFC1994 website as below or see the provisional schedule in the attachment. You will see Palace are mostly Saturday with a couple of Sundays thrown in, and City are the opposite.
We also play in the 5-aside leagues, with the new season kicking off this Tuesday – speak to the relevant people if you are keen to play on a regular basis.
See you on Wednesday.
